What an incredible day at the 69th Annual Chicken Festival! 🍗🐔

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing community for coming out to support the Rotary Club and purchasing our famous chicken halves. Your support means so much and helps us continue giving back locally.

We also want to thank the vendors who participated, the antique car owners who brought out their beautiful vehicles, and everyone who helped make the day special.

A very special thank you to the YAI Wrestling Team and our local Interact Club kids for all of their hard work flipping and serving chicken throughout the day. We truly appreciate your help and dedication!

Because of your support, the funds raised today will stay right here in our community and help provide Rotary annual scholarships for local students.

🐔 What an incredible morning! A huge THANK YOU to every walker and runner who laced up and came out in this rainy weather to support the 14th Annual Jamestown Rotary Club 5K Chicken Run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Whether you were chasing a Personal Record or just enjoying the fun, you made this event something truly special.

A special congratulations to our age category winners — your dedication and hard work showed! 🏆

Events like this don’t happen without YOUR support, and the funds raised go right back into our community and our scholarship fund. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

Your support means the world to us and helps the Jamestown Rotary Club continue doing great things right here at home. We couldn’t do it without this amazing community!

The Chicken Featival is still on for Saturday, May 23, 2026 rain or shine. The Chicken 5K is still set to begin at 7AM. The vendors have been moved the the covered pavilion so come visit and shop all our local vendors. Ticket sales for chicken halves will begin at 9:30 AM.

Don’t forget this Saturday is the 69th Annual Jamestown Rotary Club Chicken Festival!!

Chicken halves are $8 each. Drink and chips will be available for $1 each. Come out and enjoy some delicious chicken and fun activities all day including 5K Chicken Run, Classic Car Cruise In, and many local vendors. Ticket sales for Chicken halves will begin at 9:30 AM.

Special thanks to Diane Copeland of Quality Hospice Care for speaking to the club today. Diane shared information about Alzheimer’s and how she supports those in our community by heading up the Fentress County Alzheimer's Support Group. This support group is open to anyone who has a family member or is caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
The support group meets the second Tuesday of each month starting at 10:30 a.m. at South Main Street Baptist Church located at 234 South Main Street in Jamestown.
