This morning, the United States Senate voted on S. 2, a bill that includes funding for ICE and Border Patrol.

Rhode Island’s two Democratic senators voted NO.
Senator Jack Reed: NO
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse: NO

This is not complicated. Border Patrol and ICE are the men and women responsible for enforcing our immigration laws, securing our border, and removing dangerous criminals who are here illegally.

Now the bill moves to the House, which means Seth Magaziner cannot hide from this issue either.

I am running for Congress because Rhode Island deserves leaders who put American citizens first.
