Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and we’re celebrating on Halloween night! 🍬🕷️🦇

Get those costumes ready, stock up on candy, and prepare for a SPOOKTACULAR evening around the lake! 🎃🍭👻

We can’t wait to see all of our little ghosts, goblins, witches, superheroes, princesses, and more out Trick or Treating!

Shawnee Hills is a private community. Membership is available to all who own property or rent a home in our community. Activities such as fishing, swimming, boating, etc, are for members and their guests only. All guests must be accompanied by members at all times.

Please be advised that the Community Discussion regarding Wake Boats scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, has been cancelled.

This topic will instead be discussed at the next SHPOA Board Meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026.

We encourage all community members who would like to provide input or share their thoughts regarding this topic to attend the September 14th meeting.

Property owners are invited to attend a Community Discussion regarding Wake Boats on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

This meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for an informal discussion among property owners regarding wake boats and their use within our lake community.

Please note: This is a discussion-only meeting. No Board action or vote will be taken.

We encourage property owners who are interested in this topic to attend, listen, and share their thoughts respectfully.

As summer begins to wind down and school gets back into full swing, please take note of our beach hours going forward:

🕓 TODAY – Monday, August 17:
The beach will CLOSE AT 1pm due to weather.

☀️ TOMORROW – Tuesday, August 18:
This will be our LAST FULL DAY of regular beach hours!
🏖️ 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

📅 AFTER TOMORROW:
The SHPOA Beach will be OPEN ON WEEKENDS ONLY for the remainder of the season.

Thank you to all of our members and families who have spent their summer with us at the beach! 💙 We hope you enjoy the remaining weekends of sunshine and lake days! ☀️🌊
