Parenting is an amazing journey, but it can also come with questions, challenges, and a lot to figure out. You don’t have to do it alone!

Our program provides FREE support, activities, and resources designed to help you and your child grow, learn, and thrive together.

Sharing some photos from our Fletcher home visitor, Stephanie. Stephanie’s Parents As Teachers activity, pictured here, focused on emotions. Since children deal with the same emotions as adults do, it’s important for them to understand and express how they feel. By creating faces, kids are able to explore different facial expressions and feelings.

The 5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival was held on Saturday at Jackson-Taylor Park and JCLC spent the day talking with families and playing games. There was a really great turnout which gave our staff the opportunity to make new connections and create new relationships.

Sharing some great photos from the Back to School Playgroup that was held this morning after UPK orientation at Paul B D Temple Elementary School in Kennedy.

Nickcole Garcia, our JCLC home visitor at Temple, organized wonderful activities where parents and children could enjoy some fun, share snacks, and make connections with other families. This event gave Nickcole the opportunity to show what makes our Parents as Teachers Program so special - supporting child development and helping parents feel connected and confident.
