We have a new name that will be revealed very soon, as we evolve from a non-profit to a volunteer organization, we're excited to announce our new mission: empowering fellow non-profits through fundraising support and organizing spay and neuter surgeries for dogs alongside Perfect Dog. Notably, they reached a milestone of 60 dogs spayed at Jamestown Vet today! Additionally, our ongoing feral cat trapping efforts expose the extensive presence of unfixed cats and kittens in our county.
We are actively working on fixing them too.
Pictured are dogs prior to surgery this week Jimmy, Luca and Cammy.

We have dogs at three different locations and so many in foster homes. So many wonderful pets available!
Most of our cats are in foster homes but we will also have cats on site at tuolumne.
Please be patient with our staff.
We hope to see so many adoptions tomorrow! 🤩

Today, a total of 57 dogs have been successfully sterilized through the collaborative efforts of the perfect dog and Jamestown Veterinary Clinic. As a result, the future prospects for these canine companions appear promising. They will no longer endure the strain of unwanted breeding, and their potential offspring will not contribute to the existing shelter population. Additionally, several feral cats underwent spay and neuter procedures. All of these animals are now poised to lead healthier lives.

For the month of June, our recycling program is proud to support colony caretakers, individuals dedicated to feeding and ensuring the spaying or neutering of feral cat colonies. We strongly believe in the motto 'if you feed them, fix them,' promoting healthier cat colonies. Please drop off your CRV recyclables at the Sonora Recycling Center located on Eagle Ridge Drive in Sonora, between Tuesday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm. When dropping off, kindly mention you are supporting the Colony Coordinator. Alternatively, you can email us at [email protected] for recycling pickup services, and we will take care of the rest.

Although we are no longer a non-profit organization, we are delighted to report that 3 more dogs were successfully spayed and neutered for the perfect dog, bringing the total to 54!
We are thankful Jamestown veterinary clinic.
We also got some feisty feral cats in too!
We cannot stress enough that spaying or neutering is essential in preventing dogs and puppies from being at risk of euthanization due to shelters being overcrowded.
A spayed or neutered cat or dog is indeed a healthy animal.

In Jamestown, a significant feral cat colony is being managed with our assistance. Three female cats have given birth recently, and our team visited last night to feed the nursing mothers and attempt to trap males for neuter surgery, with one successful capture. The mothers will need care until they wean their kittens. Due to the theft of a trap last night, we are withholding the location's public disclosure to safeguard the cats. If you come across a TSN-marked trap, kindly return it by emailing [email protected]

In a galaxy far far away Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia & Lando Calrissian are getting ready to roll into PetSmart in Sonora, and these adorable rebels will be available for adoption real soon. I am currently babysitting the Star Wars kittens for Sonora Cat Rescue, and they are bringing joy to my galaxy.
I love them more than C-3PO loves his shine.

We are assisting the Perfect Dog who are committed to reducing pet overpopulation. Recently, our 50th dog, Maggie, a 2-year-old, underwent a successful spay procedure, ensuring she will never have to endure the hardships of unwanted pregnancy.
Spay and neuter procedures are crucial in decreasing the number of dogs in shelters. Listed are the dogs that received surgery this week. Roxy, doggo, Otis and Maggie.
We appreciate Jamestown vet collaboration with The Perfect Dog.
