We had an awesome event this weekend and a fantastic turn out. A special thanks to Midwest Murder Podcast for an great show and to Dacotah Bank, Lifestyle Appliance, R.M. Stoudt, Sarah Hellekson, Jacque Erickson, Tricia Seckerson, Alan Anderson, and Jackie Loepp-Trautman for purchasing VIP tables as well as to everyone who attended our event. Safe Shelter is so appreciative of our continued community support.

A Huge Thank You to Happy Mermaid Images!

We are beyond grateful to Happy Mermaid Images for their incredible generosity and dedication to our community. This year, their annual Halloween photo fundraiser raised an amazing $2,880 to support victims of domestic and sexual violence. 💜

For many years, Happy Mermaid Images has hosted this heartwarming event, offering beautiful photos of local kids in their Halloween costumes in exchange for free-will donations. Not only does this bring smiles to countless families, but it also makes a meaningful difference for those in need.

To everyone who participated and donated—thank you for your kindness and support. And to Happy Mermaid Images, thank you for using your talent and passion to create positive change. We are lucky to have you in our community! 📸✨
