To all participants,
I wanted to give you a sincere thank you for coming out to play in my Mom’s memorial golf tournament. She would have been full of joy to see how many people came out to support the “little flock” at North Main Street Church of God.
Your participation was key to the success of our golf scramble. Obviously without golfers there’s no tournament, so I thank you again.
That being said, this scramble was not put together to only showcase golfers’ skills, donors generosity or the pristine condition of the golf course, but to promote bringing kids together with love and lessons in walking with Jesus Christ.
Every fundraiser, activity and devotional lesson is for the Glory of God. This tournament included.
This year is going to be an awesome year for the kids at our youth ministry. With the money from donors, 50/50, red tees and mulligans we aim to take trips to Cleveland zoo, Waldemeer Park, local Tarp skunk games, Bills training camp, State parks, local museums and miniature golf.
Along with fishing and hiking, we plan on starting a community garden for the congregation and continue to shovel snow and rake leaves with our “community assist” program.
Thank you again for playing and I look forward to seeing you and your team next year. Good luck and enjoy the Mary Lou Strudwick Memorial.
