Let It Be Said ~ Vision Statement
L.I.F.E. ~ Living Intentionally Fearlessly Everyday
The vision of Let It Be Said (L.I.B.S.) is to provide a safe and secure platform for men and women to discuss topics that concern our families, communities, schools, places of worship and inevitably, our country.
LIBS will be open and broadminded, always non-judgmental with regard to race, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, s*xual orientation, age or disability.
LIBS’ vision is to help transform society’s outlook and response to the reality of drug and alcohol disorders, homelessness, mental health, child abuse, depression, anxiety and su***de.
LIBS will offer preventative and early-intervention strategies to give hope to those that are sick and suffering and to reduce the impact of these disorders on the family and community.
Our vision is to increase the awareness of our young people of the dangers and consequences of addiction, unprotected s*x and bullying, and to provide accurate information about different
types of drugs and their effects and legal ramifications.
LIBS will shed light on the long term mental and emotional effects of domestic violence, physical, s*xual and verbal abuse, as well as s*xual assault, r**e and molestation that unfortunately men and woman live with everyday which can cause PTSD, shame and low self-esteem. We will guide, support and provide resources for victims of trauma as they begin their journey to healing.
LIBS will be dedicated and committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and comprehensive platform for individuals of the LGBTQ+ community to share the disparity that they can
sometimes face. We will assure the LGBTQ+ community a safe place to develop trust and confidence in knowing that we are open to educating ourselves and addressing their needs and challenges.
