Our good friends at Jamesport Meeting House will host East End Jazz next Saturday in celebration of Women's History Month. A great reason to get out and shake off some cabin fever.

What better way to celebrate Women’s History Month than experiencing the art of five talented female musicians?

On March 7 at 7:30 p.m., East End Jazz will put on Voices of Vision — a show highlighting compositions from female musicians of the past and today, played by five New York-based artists — at Jamesport Meeting House.

Proposed Riverhead legislation would allow for construction of up to 18, 1,200-sq.-ft. "cottages" to be attached and built on Riverhead golf courses. That's not a cottage - it's a 21,600 sq.-ft. hotel with as many as 50 guest rooms. Don't let the Town redefine golf courses or sneak in resort zoning with these proposed codes. Speak up at the public hearing. Write to the Town Board.
