Garden Day at Venture House Queens. Our partners at Bristol Myers Squibb and The Home Depot joined Venture House members and staff for a day of community gardening at Venture House Queens.

Thanks to Home Depot's generous support of plants, materials, and expertise, this project was made possible. Together, we enhanced our garden, creating a welcoming outdoor space that supports wellness and recovery.

We are grateful to our volunteers, staff, and members for helping make the day such a success and for their continued commitment to the Venture House community.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reflecting on what it means to create more good days, together.

Robert shared what it meant to have a community behind him when life setbacks forced him to rebuild.

“Even when things happened in my life – like major things like my building burned down -- Venture House didn’t have to step in, didn’t have to help. It really had nothing to do with them. But they went above and beyond, and it made that next step in my life brighter and easier. That meant the world to me.”
