Come Back Kids Inc. is looking for 20-25 volunteers to help make our 2026 Back 2 School Bash a success!

⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We’re seeking energetic, community-minded individuals, organizations, churches, student groups, fraternities, sororities, and businesses who want to make a difference in the lives of local youth and families.

Volunteer opportunities include:
✅ Event Setup & Breakdown
✅ Registration & Check-In
✅ School Supply & Backpack Distribution
✅ Vendor Assistance
✅ Crowd Guidance
✅ Kids Activities
✅ Resource Tables
✅ General Event Support

This is a great opportunity to:

Come Back Kids Inc. has been serving Jacksonville youth since 2016, and this year’s Back 2 School Bash will help equip hundreds of students with the tools, resources, and support they need to start the school year strong.

📚✨ Florida State Testing Season Is Here! ✨📚

To all our students — take a deep breath, do your best, and remember: one test does NOT define your brilliance 💙

Parents, when your babies come home, the biggest thing they need is support, encouragement, and a calm environment. Testing can be mentally exhausting, especially for younger students.

Here are 3 simple ways to check in with them after testing:

⭐ 1. Ask HOW they felt — not just how they scored
Instead of “Was it hard?” try:
👉 “What part made you feel most confident today?”

⭐ 2. Refuel their brain + body
Healthy snacks, water, rest, and downtime matter more than we realize after long testing days.

⭐ 3. Encourage effort over perfection
Remind them:
“You showed up. You tried. I’m proud of you no matter what.”
