⭐ A big gold star for our Stuff the Bus community!

Thanks to you, we collected 21,000+ school supplies and raised $3,000+ for students and teachers across Duval and Clay counties.

After more than a decade of packing buses with First Coast News, we’re officially turning over the Duval Stuff the Bus keys to Jacksonville Public Education Fund (JPEF). We're grateful to everyone who built this tradition, and excited to see it grow with JPEF, Clay Education Foundation and Impact Clay leading the way.

We're about to flip the switch on something big at Westside High School. ⚡

We’re proud to work alongside Duval County Public Schools, Miller Electric Company and Milwaukee Tool to help reopen Westside’s electrical training program, giving students a chance to get hands-on experience and explore careers in the skilled trades. Through the program, students will have opportunities to earn industry certifications, visit job sites and learn from professionals in the field.

It’s one way we’re putting our 2030 goals into action — creating stronger pathways from the classroom to careers and helping more young people find opportunities to thrive right here in Northeast Florida.

When Sean, a Veteran in our community, unexpectedly lost his job, the fallout hit fast: a notice to vacate the Airbnb his family was living in, no reliable transportation after losing access to a company vehicle and an empty pantry.

Then, he called Mission United.

Mission United stepped in with emergency grocery assistance giving Sean and his family some breathing room while he focused on finding work and a stable place to call home.

With a little less weight on his shoulders, Sean can focus on what comes next. That is what Mission United is here for.
