For almost a year they have been donating their leftover bread to UCOM for us to distribute to our neighbors in need. We appreciate them so much, so go support them at any of the local markets they sell at or their website!

Last week UCOM celebrated the career and retirement of our Director of Volunteer Experience, Dale Bolton, and we are going to miss her so much🥹
Thank you to everyone in the UCOM family who came to cheer on Dale!! Thank you as well to Kim Heath Armga from Jacksonville Color and Style who came and did a fashion workshop for us to help celebrate Dale's career in Philanthropy and Fashion!

The new school year is here, and we are swamped with requests for local students! Please consider helping us fill custom care packages filled with clothing, hygiene products, and other essentials.

📅 Tuesdays and Thursdays
⏰ 10 a.m.–12 p.m. or 1–3 p.m.
Location: 13375 Beach Blvd. Jax, FL.

Whether you volunteer for one shift or join us regularly, your time will make a meaningful difference for students in our community.

UCOM's Summer Nutrition Program has come to a close and we are so thankful for everyone who came together to make it possible this year! 😎🌞🕶 We served 75 families each week!!!
Thank you to all of the youth groups and teens who came to volunteer on their summer vacation, thank you RF-SMART for their dedicated and continued volunteering, thank you to our intern Karyzma, and a HUGE thank you to Deerwood Rotary for making this program possible.

So glad we can take our Nutritionally Secure Seniors program to apartments like Mt. Carmel. We bring groceries once or twice a month and also bring nutrition classes and games!

Earlier this week we celebrated our teen volunteers who have been helping run the summer lunch program! 💙💛 Thank you for spending your mornings with us during your time off from school! We also celebrated double birthdays, Ti-yon AND Takara's birthday, with a state-of-the-art ramen bar (yes, you should be jealous.) 🍜
