Highway 69 Mission Closure Announcement
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Community Members,
After much prayer, thoughtful consideration, and seeking God’s guidance, Billy Bateman and the Board of Directors of Highway 69 Mission have made the difficult decision to permanently close the mission effective September 1, 2026.
This decision was not made lightly. For many years, Highway 69 Mission has been blessed by the generosity, dedication, and support of countless individuals, churches, businesses, and volunteers who have shared in our mission. We are deeply grateful for every donation, every hour of service, every prayer, and every act of kindness that has helped make this ministry possible.
As we begin this transition, please note the following important dates and information:
Effective July 1, 2026, Highway 69 Mission will no longer accept donations or schedule donation pickups.
During the months of July and August, all remaining inventory and other mission assets will be liquidated.
The mission will remain open during this period on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please do not leave or drop off items at the mission outside of these operating hours unless prior arrangements have been made with Billy Bateman.
While this chapter is coming to a close, we find comfort and encouragement in God’s Word. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us:
“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”
We believe that God has guided Highway 69 Mission through many seasons of ministry, and we trust Him as we enter this new season. Though the mission’s doors will close, we remain thankful for the lives touched, the relationships built, and the opportunities we have had to serve our community together.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your faithful support, generosity, prayers, and partnership throughout the years. You have been an essential part of this ministry, and we will always be grateful for the impact we have made together.
May God bless each of you and your families.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Billy Bateman
And
The Board of Directors
