Did you know? The theater that has been a cornerstone of since 1927 has quite a story to tell!

Originally opened as the Riverside Theatre, it holds the title of one of the first theaters in Florida built to show "talkies," the talking pictures that changed movies forever. It was designed by architect Roy Benjamin, who also designed the iconic Florida Theatre and over 200 theaters throughout the Southeast.

Over the decades, the building has gone through quite a journey, and its newest chapter is FIVE - Jacksonville a live music venue that opened in May 2025. Nearly 100 years later, this landmark is still at the heart of Five Points, just with a new beat! 🎶
