Deerfield Valley Lions www.dvvtlions.org (formerly Whitingham-Halifax Lions) The Deerfield Valley Lions (Vermont) is a service club dedicated to meeting the needs of our community.

Deerfield Valley Lions: a non-profit, all-volunteer community action organization, serves: sight-hearing | hunger | diabetes | environment | pediatric cancer & other local needs. We're proud to be Lions Club of the Year in the state of Vermont, 2020-2021. We are an active, open and welcoming club dedicated to serving local needs - and having fun. With it, the DVL has added back more than $200,000 in charity services to the Deerfield Valley community since its inception in 2012. The DVL is part of District 45 Vermont Lions and Lions Clubs International (LCI), the largest service organization worldwide. We work with our Zone clubs, including Readsboro Lions, Valley Lions (Newfane), and Brattleboro Area Lions.

Today was a special day as the Deerfield Valley Lions embarked on our annual holiday grocery deliveries. With help from the Rotary of the Deerfield Valley, the Readsboro Lions, local churches, community members, our club was able to reach out to nearly 300 families to offer some support this holiday season - check out all the stars on this year’s map of our service areas. We could not do it without the generosity of so many within the Deerfield Valley and beyond. We can’t begin to meet all the needs out there, but hopefully our little pop ins and drop offs reminded folks that they matter and we are a community that cares. Happy Holidays.
