Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who defended our freedoms. We invite veterans, families, friends, and community members to join us in paying tribute and remembering our fallen heroes.

All are welcome. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be served following the official program.

Army Specialist Morganne McBeth served during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Just 19 years old and from Fredericksburg, Virginia, she was assigned to the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Spc. McBeth died on July 2, 2010, in Asad, Iraq, from a non-combat related incident in Khan al Baghdadi.

She is laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
