Donation Update!

First, we would like to say thank you to our community for the continued support and generosity. The donations we receive help keep our Thrift Store running and allow us to provide affordable items to the community. We truly appreciate everyone who takes the time to donate.

To help us keep the store organized and make the best use of the space we have available, we would like to share a few important donation guidelines.

While we are grateful for every donation, we often received some items that are unfortunately not in usable condition or are too large for our space. To ensure we can continue accepting donations and serving the community, please review the following list before bringing items to the store.

✔️ Items we happily accept
• Clean clothing in good condition
• Shoes and accessories
• Toys and games
• Books and magazines
• Kitchen items (dishes, utensils, small appliances)
• Home décor and small household items
• Small electronics that are in working condition
• Linens such as blankets or towels.
• Other small household or miscellaneous items.

⚠️ Please make sure donated items are
• Clean
• In good, usable condition
• Not heavily damaged, stained, or with mold.

❌ Items we cannot accept
• Mattresses
• Large sofas or oversized furniture
• Items with mold, strong odors, or heavy damage
• Broken items that cannot be used
• Tires
• Hazardous materials (chemicals, paint, fuel, etc.)

For reference, we will also be sharing example photos of items we are unable to accept to help clarify the guidelines.

If you would like to donate larger items, please contact the Thrift Store first so we can confirm if we have space available.

🚮 Dumpster Use

The dumpster located outside the Thrift Store within our block area is intended for use by the offices located in this shared space.

The dumpster has frequently been filled with large boxes, household trash, fishing waste, and other items coming from outside sources. When this happens, the dumpster becomes full before our staff has the opportunity to dispose of the thrift store's trash during our operating days.

As a reminder, the Thrift Store is open only on Mondays and Thursdays, and we rely on this dumpster to manage the waste generated during those days.

We respectfully ask everyone to please use the appropriate trash disposal areas designated for housing or other locations and help keep this dumpster available for the offices in this block.
