Real talk: Renewal isn't a feeling you work up—it's who you already are.

In baptism, your old self died with Christ. Something new was raised. That's not metaphor. That's you.

Some days you'll feel it. Other days you won't. But your identity in Christ doesn't change with your mood.

The disciples locked the doors out of fear. Jesus walked right through them anyway.

Whatever you've closed off in your heart—the grief, the disappointment, the questions you're afraid to voice—He's not waiting for you to unlock it first.

He meets us in the sealed-off places. Behind the barricades. In the rooms where we thought we had to hide.

You don't have it together for Him to show up. He's already there.
