Dignity is always on the menu. 🛒🧡

When families visit one of our walk-up partner pantries, they aren't just handed a pre-packed box—they get to "shop" for the specific items their household needs and enjoys most.

The client-choice model makes a huge difference:
✨ Improves the Experience: Neighbors can select items that fit their dietary needs, cultural preferences, and family size.
✨ Reduces Waste: Families only take what they know they will use, ensuring food never goes to waste.
✨ Creates Connection: It allows volunteers and staff to build warm, personal connections with our neighbors.

Access to food is a basic need, but being able to choose it with care and dignity is what true community support is all about. 🌾✨

When hard times hit, our pantries and mobile distributions are here to ensure mothers, fathers, and caregivers across Northeast and North Central Florida don't have to worry about where their little one’s next meal is coming from.

With the cost of living and groceries continuing to rise, many of our neighbors are stretched to their limits. For families on tight budgets, visiting a partner pantry isn't just about getting food—it's about survival.

The groceries from our distributions free up crucial funds so parents and seniors don't have to choose between putting dinner on the table or paying for:

📣 Announcing our new Food Drive Task Force!

We often receive smaller food drive donations that don't quite need a full-sized warehouse truck, but would easily fit in a personal vehicle. As a Task Force member, you’ll pick up these local donations and bring them back to Feeding Northeast Florida whenever it fits your schedule.

At every pantry, we distribute carefully curated grocery items to provide a healthy balance of fresh produce, like fresh potatoes and carrots, along with essential pantry items like peanut butter, pasta, sauce, and canned fruits and vegetables.

Together with our community partners and volunteers, we’re working to make sure no family has to go without wholesome, nutritious food 🧡.

Throughout Hunger Action Month, our community showed up in a huge way! 🧡

Thanks to the incredible dedication of over 1,200 volunteers, we logged more than 3,200 volunteer hours and distributed over 2 MILLION POUNDS of food to neighbors in need across Northeast Florida! 🌾📦

A huge thank you to our incredible partners who made this impact possible:
✨ VyStar Credit Union – for joining us for a day of service and celebrating the grand opening of our new VyStar Volunteer Resource Center!
✨ Publix – for sending hundreds of associates to sort and pack food in our warehouse.
✨ Winn-Dixie – for helping bring fresh produce and essentials directly into our community.
✨ The City of Jacksonville – for officially proclaiming September as Hunger Action Month!

Hunger ends where community begins. Together, we are Feeding Northeast Florida. 🧡✨
