Brothers of the Seventh District,
As we enter Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I am asking the Brothers of the Seventh District to join our broader NPHC and Divine Nine family in supporting an initiative that can directly impact the health and lives of Black men throughout our communities.


The goal is clear and important:
Provide 500 FREE prostate cancer screenings to local men.
As Omega Men, our commitment to service must also include encouraging one another to take seriously the health challenges that disproportionately affect Black men. Prostate cancer remains one of those challenges, and awareness, early detection, and appropriate screening can make a meaningful difference.

I am asking every Brother to take three simple actions:
REGISTER. SHARE. REACH ONE.

Register for the Prostate Cancer Power Hour. Share this initiative through your chapter, family, church, workplace, social media, and community networks. Most importantly, personally reach out to at least one man—a Brother, father, son, uncle, coworker, church member, neighbor, or friend—and encourage him to learn more about prostate cancer and the importance of screening.

I also encourage us to engage the women of our Divine Nine family as partners in this effort. Mothers, wives, partners, sisters, daughters, Sorors, and friends can play a powerful role in encouraging the men they love to prioritize their health.

This effort is bigger than Omega. It is bigger than any individual fraternity or sorority. This is an opportunity for the entire Divine Nine to mobilize around the health and well-being of the men in our communities.
Service is not simply what we do—it is reflected in whose life is better because we chose to act.

So, Brothers, I leave you with one question:
Who is the ONE man you will personally reach?
