Our Chapter encompasses the Counties of Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Levy, Madison, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee, Taylor, Union and Wakulla in the State of Florida. Did you know on this day in 1777 the Second Continental Congress adopted the Flag of the United States. Of course it looked a little different then. It wasn’t until 1916 when President Woodrow Wilson issued a Presidential Proclamation declaring June 14 as Flag Day. 🇺🇸
