Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter -Zeta Phi Beta Sorority

Happy belated birthday Sorors 💙!

09/23/2026

When more than half of students involved in organizations report experiencing hazing, this cannot be dismissed as someone else’s problem.

Prevention belongs to all of us. Every sister, at every stage of membership, has a role in shaping a Sisterhood where respect is expected, accountability is practiced, and belonging never comes at the cost of someone’s dignity.

The culture we create today becomes the legacy someone else inherits tomorrow.

🔥 Choose what strengthens us. Challenge what harms us. Be intentional about what you pass forward.

Pass the Torch, Not the Trauma.

Some things are worth passing down. Harm isn’t one of them. 🔥💙

Finer Women Don’t Haze x National Hazing Prevention Week 2026 is officially here, and this year’s message is clear:

Pass the Torch, Not the Trauma.

We can honor our history without repeating harmful practices. From our newest members to our most seasoned Sorors, each of us has a responsibility to protect the Sisterhood and help shape what comes next.

This week, we’re making space for real conversations around accountability, safety, respect, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

So, Sorors, the torch is in our hands.

🔥 What will you choose to pass forward?

Repost from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated

Today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated honors the legacy and uplifts the men of Iota Phi Theta, as they celebrate their 63rd Anniversary.

Since its founding in 1963, the brown and gold have stood as a beacon of fortitude, purposefully built to advocate for the rights of our people and champion social and economic justice for the overlooked and underserved.

Born out of a pivotal moment in history, Iota became a movement. At Morgan State University, twelve visionary founders: Albert Hicks, Lonnie Spruill, Jr., Charles Briscoe, Frank Coakley, John Slade, Barron Willis, Webster Lewis, Charles Brown, Louis Hudnell, Charles Gregory, Elias Dorsey, Jr., and Michael Williams - united around a shared commitment to maturity, community, and civic engagement. Refusing to be mere spectators, they became architects of change.

When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America’s maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.

Senior Care Toiletry Drive💙

This holiday season, the Senior Care Committee is coming together to support the residents of Jacksonville Nursing Home and Lakeside Nursing Home through our Toiletry Drive. Our goal is to collect 500 or more toiletry kits and individual personal-care items to help meet residents’ everyday needs and share the joy of the Christmas season.

Supporters can purchase new toiletry items and provide them to the committee during a scheduled pickup time, or make a monetary donation so the committee can purchase the products most needed. By working together, we can provide practical care, comfort, and a meaningful reminder that our seniors are remembered and valued.

Even a small gift makes a difference. A $10 donation can help provide a toiletry kit for one nursing-home resident.

✨Dignity. Comfort. Care.✨
Small items make a big difference.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
