On this Memorial Day, we paused to hold space for the profound courage and ultimate sacrifices made by the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation.

As we do every year, we gathered at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall to pay our respects, standing among the granite tributes that bear the names of those who never returned home. Amidst the quiet solemnity of the ceremony, we were reminded that while those names are etched in stone, their legacies are etched in the heart of a grateful country, ensuring that their bravery is never forgotten.
