Riverfront Rollout is TOMORROW, Saturday, Oct 17, from 10am-1pm. We’re turning the Riverfront Plaza sidewalk loop into a skating track with music, food trucks, rink-style games, and a few direction switches along the way. Hosted in partnership with the Rolling Gems.
BEFORE YOU ROLL:
* Bring your own skates, scooter, or skateboard
* No powered wheels ❌ (This includes E-Scooters, E-bikes, One Wheels, etc. those with Mobility scooters or chairs are exempt from this)
* Anyone under 18 must wear a helmet
* Sign your waiver at the JaxParks tent and grab a wristband
* Pre-sign your waiver through the link in our stories! Please still come to tent to check in upon arrival. You will be given a wristband to wear while you skate. This is our way of knowing that your waiver is signed!
* This is an easy/leisurely style skating event, not a race! Please skate carefully, and be mindful of others as you go around the loop. There will be skaters of all ages.
* Please listen to announcements while onsite! We will be hosting a few games during the event, as well as switching the skate direction a time or two.
* Please do not block the skate path
* There are small hills along this loop, please approach them carefully
* Have Fun!
PARKING OPTIONS:
*Street Parking is free on weekends, and is available throughout downtown and near the park.
*Paid parking is available in the Water St Garage. This garage is just 3 blocks from the park and is our main suggestion outside of street parking.
*Paid parking is available in other parking garages as well, next closest one being at the corner of Laura and Adams. Please note that while slightly closer to the park, this one is privately owned, and will be higher cost than the Water St. Garage.
