wner along with additional information from their website at www.jubileehabitat.org. The location of another JHH constructed home was at 699 Freedman Street here in Jacksonville, and was dedicated in 2012. JHH was very excited to complete the renovation of an already-existing structure at 141 East Independence, Jacksonville, Illinois. Inspection and acquisition of the house was completed during the spring of 2013. Under the supervision of Dale Woolridge and Larry Speakman, the house plans included a three-bedroom house and boasted over 1,200 square feet in size. This project tested the expert skills of all volunteers with its challenges, as it was the first ever rehabilitation-renovation job. Despite all issues, the dedication and skills of the volunteers transformed the structure into a fine dwelling for a deserving homeowner. Completion was realized late in December of 2013. As always, JHH loves volunteers to help with construction as well as to take a leadership position on the board of directors and board committees. If you are interested, please call 217-602-0162. We will gladly find a place for you. JHH will complete another successful fiscal year as of June 30, 2015. The financial records show another strong balance sheet and sufficient resources to continue to support its mission. This is a positive reflection not only on all donations over the last 25 years, but to all the volunteers who have given their most precious commodity of time and to the commitment from the Jacksonville area which has continued its belief in helping others. JHH is most gracious to all. Jesus was not only the Savior but also a carpenter. Pick up your hammer and follow his lead. See you at the job site!

Volunteering your time is one of the best ways to help those less fortunate! Habitat homes are built through the generous time donated by a team of people from all walks of life in our community.

If you would like to help, here are some ways to do so:

Home Construction - You don't have to be a master carpenter to help out with the construction process. We have experienced people who can help you learn the proper technique, or you can haul supplies to other volunteers on site. There are many ways you can be of help.

Become a Board Member -Our Board meets once a month to discuss upcoming projects, building sites, financing, and marketing ideas. If you're not keen on swinging a hammer, being on the Board is a great way to make a difference in someone's life.

Fundraising - Jubilee Habitat holds various fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for projects, supplies, and other fees. Volunteer your time to make snacks, work at the fundraiser, set up tables & chairs, etc. There is always something to do.

Sponsorship - We can always use help with sponsorship opportunities. If your organization is interested in sponsoring one of our habitat projects, contact us and we'll get the ball rolling.
