Could their bridge hold the weight… or would it collapse? 👀

During our latest Saturday session, the students stepped into the world of engineering with Engineer Ledarius Smith.

Their challenge: build an expansion bridge strong enough to support weight without collapsing.

The students were fully engaged as they designed, built, tested, adjusted, and problem-solved their way through the project.

This was more than building a bridge.

It was about critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and learning how engineers turn ideas into structures that actually work.

And judging by the excitement in the room… they were all in. 🔥

The students are officially back at work preparing for the annual Let’s Move Jacksonville event coming this December and this year, they’re taking it to another level!

These behind-the-scenes moments are only the beginning.

What happens when a community invests in the mental health of its young people? 💚

We’re excited to share that we’ve received a Red Coats’ Community Grant for Youth Mental Health from THE PLAYERS Championship.

This support will help equip middle and high school students with tools to build resilience, strengthen their mental wellness, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

We’re incredibly grateful to Red Coats for investing in our youth and helping us continue this important work.

Stronger minds. Stronger students. Stronger communities.

Our Celebrity Basketball Game was one for the books. Not just because of the excitement, but because together we helped support unhoused students throughout DCPS.

None of it was possible without YOU ! everyone who attended, partnered, played, liked, shared, commented, and helped spread the word.
