We are initiating a fund raising campaign to raise up Ysa. A 20 year Marine veteran who has found purpose in ultra marathon running. “I felt like I could never recreate the bonding, intensity and overall fulfillment of combat. That was the case until I found ultra.” Ysa has been training up for the upcoming Tahoe 200 in June and wanted to take this opportunity to relieve some of the financial stress by raising enough money to sponsor the lodging and travel for his family and race crew. The goal is 15k.
Ysa’s life story is inspiring. He is a dedicated husband, father and son. 100 percent of the donations for this fund raising effort will go directly to Ysa.

We had a great time hosting this event alongside our fellow partners and sponsors - Semper Fi Flag Supply, Holmdel Kimisis Philoptochos and St. Paraskevi Philoptochos Society - Clifton, NJ. It was a fun and rewarding morning surfing at Skudin Surf at American Dream.

Thank you to Saint Basil Academy - Licensed Greek Orthodox Resident Child Care Facility for the opportunity to host the event, we're looking forward to planning more together in the future.

Alpha Wave Project was created to support those who have served. Events like this give our Veterans and First Responders a meaningful opportunity to continue answering the call, this time within the communities around them. We’re thankful to be part of something that brings service full circle.

Continuing to practice gratitude, peace, and resilience while holding space not only for yourself, but for others as well—because of what you have been through. Every session proves itself by capturing moments of peace in individuals who truly deserve it.

On Giving Tuesday, we kindly ask for your support to make 2026 even more successful!

In its first year, the Alpha Wave Project hosted eight dynamic events, raised more than $40,000, and supported over 100 veterans and first responders.

Through community gatherings, mental health and trauma coaching, financial assistance for medical needs, and other vital initiatives, the organization continues to build a network of support, purpose, and resilience.
