Volunteers in Medicine, Jacksonville (VIM-Jax) Providing FREE outpatient primary and specialty medical services to Greater Jacksonville’s WORKING uninsured

Our success can be directly attributed to the passion and commitment of more than 230 ACTIVE VOLUNTEER healthcare and non-clinical professionals that perform a wide array of services at our downtown clinic five days a week. These volunteer professionals qualify patients, manage medical records and deliver vital preventative medical care to our patients. On-site program specialties include mental h

ealth counseling, vision and eye care, cardiology and heart disease prevention and maintenance, diabetes and nutrition counseling. Volunteers in Medicine’s signature “Healthy Habits” programs include regular patient wellness events and activities including blood pressure and glucose screenings, mammograms, stress tests, and “Healthy Habits” neighborhood walks.

💙 Meet our August 2026 Women with Heart Honoree, MJ Fratianni! 💙

A leader in her career and her community, MJ Fratianni truly embodies what it means to put “Service Above Self.”

MJ is a seasoned construction and facility management executive with experience leading a wide range of real estate projects. In her current role with Hunt Construction Group on the Jaguars Stadium of the Future project, she serves as the central project contact and administers the Jacksonville Small Emerging Businesses, Buy Local, Buy American, and Apprenticeship programs.

Raised in Central Indiana, MJ holds a Bachelor of Business degree from The University of Miami, a Civil Engineering degree from Cincinnati Technical College, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix.

But MJ’s heart for service extends far beyond her career. 💕 She served as President of The Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary Club from 2010–2011 and is active with Habitat for Humanity, ARC of the St. Johns, and The Chris V. Brown Foundation. Through Rotary, she has supported efforts to eradicate polio worldwide, clean water projects in South America, and programs providing food and healthcare to migrant workers in Northeast Florida.

MJ believes deeply in paying it forward—and she lives that commitment through her service to others.

When she’s not working or giving back, MJ enjoys her two Goldendoodles, live music, football, traveling, and beach life with her family! 🐾🎶🏈🌊

We are so proud to celebrate MJ this August and grateful to have her as part of our 2026 Women with Heart family.
