JSU Fundraisers are back on!

Next game is tonight! I know it’s short notice, but that means we’re in desperate need of volunteers!

Meet at Post 57 at 4:30pm tonight! We’ll get done around 7pm

Thank you to all of the sponsors of the Annual American Legion Post 57 Golf Tournament. The event had 14 teams participate and fun was had by all. Please remember to support our sponsors and let them know you also support the American Legion Post 57.
We will do it again next year.

Our Dedication to those KIA in the War on Terrorism for Charles Haight and Kyle Comfort went very well today.

Always in our hearts. Always we remember.

Special thanks to our own David Hall for running this, and everyone who participated in this memorial: Women’s Army Corps Chapter 62, Mike Abrahams, Chaplain Michael Dunbar, Mayor Mark Jones, Eric Sloughfy, Jon Garlick, Cindy Moyer, CDR Bob Persch, Annie Ingram, Jacory Jackson, Judy Shealy, Keith Foster, and so many more!

And a heartfelt honoring of the families of these two heroes.

Hello All,

We need help cleaning the Legion tonight so it's clean and organized for our guests tomorrow. There are plants growing in the front gutters, and we have plenty of work to do inside.

There is a WAC meeting in the back room tonight, but when they are done we need to get the room ready for tomorrow.

If you can, please come help. 5:00 PM would be a good time to get started.

As always, we appreciate your support.

Thanks,

Executive Committee

Gail DaParma has been instrumental in helping American Legion Post 57 with all of our renovation projects over the last five years. Please keep her in your prayers as her husband, Mark, passed away earlier this morning.

For Clarity: Yes, I made the mistake of stating Alabama kicks off at Noon. Apologies. That is Noon Eastern Time. Game starts at 11:00 A.M. Central Time. Don't let that deter you from getting into your vehicles and coming up though. Legion still opens at 12:00. Wings at 1:00! There will be enough to feed a small Army! Other games will be on too! We spend money on these events! Come hang!
