(formerly Northeast Florida Women Veterans) is focused on ensuring women who have served on active duty, National Guard, or Reserves transition into the civilian community with the tools they need to become self-sufficient. We operate a resource center to provide supportive services and resources to women veterans and advocate for and promote community awareness of their challenges and accomplishm

ents at the local, State, and National levels ensuring each has a voice. Vision:

Still thinking about what an amazing night this was 💛

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our 12th Annual Women Veterans Recognition Week Gala on June 13th. It truly meant a lot to see so many people show up and celebrate women who have served.

Big thank you to our keynote speaker, General James “Hammer” Hartsell, for sharing your story, and to our MC, Tammy Hodo, for keeping everything flowing so smoothly.

Special thank you to the Marines of 4th AAB, Company B, for presenting the colors. Y'all brought your A-game 💪

Today marks Women Veterans Recognition Day in Florida. In 1948, President Truman enacted the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, allowing courageous women to serve and protect our nation in all military branches. Let us honor Florida's more than 172,000 Women Veterans who selflessly served in uniform. 🇺🇸
