KME members, please let me know if you would like to submit a presentation to KME this semester. Like most other conferences, all KME Regional Conferences have been cancelled, but presentations can be submitted to appear “virtually.”

Greetings, fellow KME members. I hope you are all staying healthy and happy! Please see the following letter and link from National Council regarding student presentations for the Spring 2020 semester.

Interesting article about “Eureka” moments and collaborative mathematics.

Mathematician Geordie Williamson had a dramatic "aha moment" in a hotel shower — and it got him thinking about where brilliant ideas come from.

Hello all and welcome back!!
We are kicking off the new school year with a pizza party and ice cream social this Friday at 4pm in room 114!!!
We will be deciding on a T-shirt design and a new math club logo, so bring some ideas if you have any!

Did you all enjoy your spring break?

If you're still feeling like you didn't get enough of a break, maybe we can help you?

Join us Friday, April 5, from 4:00 - 8:30 for a math club meeting (in 114 Ayers Hall of course)! We will eat pizza (at 5:30 or so) and play board games, but that's not at all.

We will be holding officer elections for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters! All positions (President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) are open.

*** If you are interested, please contact Dr. Dempsey before Friday and let him know. Additionally, try to get to the meeting as soon as it starts. If you have a schedule conflict, you may still have a chance to be elected but you must let Dr. Dempsey know of your interest.😊
