This Mandarin area, evening quilt guild was established over 25 years ago and is part of the 7 Sisters Quilters Guilds in the Jacksonville area. We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month and have loads of fun but also learn so much about quilting. The monthly meetings may include the annual Ugly Auction, Birthday Party or our Holiday party along with quilting instructional meetings with area teache

rs. We participate in the Jacksonville Quiltfest and have several members on the board. Twice a year members and guests are invited to attend a quilting retreat held at Epworth Retreat Center on St. Simon’s Island, Luther Springs, and Lake Swan in Melrose, Florida

The Honeybee members are proud of the charity work they have done over the years. This includes either raising funds for local charities or quilt donations to non-profits such as K-9 for Warriors, Hospice, Wounded Warriors, Betty Griffin House, and the Mandarin Food Bank,

We welcome visitors to come to the monthly meetings and hope you will join us in the future.

One of our sister guilds, Jacksonville Modern Quilt Guild (JAXMQG), is raising money for California Fire Foundation's wildfire relief efforts! Enter to possibly win a one-of-a-kind quilt designed and made by JAXMQG members.

"Balance Sheet" is 61" x 78", machine pieced and quilted and has a cozy layer of bamboo batting. Displayed at QuiltCon 2024 and featured in their magazine. Received Honorable Mention at Jax QuiltFest 2024.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to California Fire Foundation. The winner will be contacted to provide a mailing address so the quilt can be shipped at the guild's expense (US only).

Come visit the Honeybees at Jacksonville Quilt Show presented by QuiltFest!!! Our guild is the hostess guild and provided almost all of the quilts hanging in the lobby.

Jacksonville Quilt Show presented by QuiltFest started getting all the quilts ready to hang today! The lobby has many beautiful quilts adorning the upper level creating a vista of what is to be seen inside the exhibit hall. The exhibit area will be transformed today and Wednesday into a beautiful display of color, talent and extraordinary quilts.

Plan on attending this fabulous show on September 19, 20, & 21 at the Prime Osborne Convention Center.
