Jake Dukes — APPRENTICE
• Originally from Bowling Green, KY, Jake earned his BA in Dance with a minor in Musical Theatre from Western Kentucky University. He has performed with the WKU Dance Company, trained with David Dorfman, and worked professionally in musical theatre as both a performer and choreographer. Jake joins JDT for his professional dance company debut.
Jada Lafaire — APPRENTICE
• Jada earned her BFA in Dance from Valdosta State University, where she received the Honors Award for Creative Excellence. She has trained with Doug Varone and Dancers, Staib Dance, Jacksonville Dance Theatre, and New Dialect, and has presented her own choreography at the Women’s Art Exchange and American College Dance Association. She is also a former company dancer with Emily Cargill and Dancers.
Sakii Sanderlin — APPRENTICE
• Originally from Fort Wayne, IN, Sakii earned their bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance from Ball State University. They have worked with choreographers including Joshua Peugh, Leandro Glory Damasco Jr., and Morgan Williams, and have performed throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Prior to joining JDT, Sakii worked as a freelance choreographer and performer in Houston, TX.
Lexi Young — APPRENTICE
• Lexi earned her BFA in Dance from Lindenwood University. She has attended intensives with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, UNCSA, Regional Dance America, and Saint Louis Dance Theater, and was selected as a Rising Choreographer with Sarasota Contemporary Dance in 2025.
Keeli Bean — TRAINEE
• Originally from Amelia Island, FL, Keeli returns for her second season with JDT as a Trainee after making her company performance debut in Season 14.
