The course we ran on Friday at the Twilight 5K and Social was developed by two park run volunteers, Lisa Brosky and Shauna Dixon. Thank you Lisa & Shauna! If you enjoy the course and the park, you should consider participating in the free Parkrun held at West End Park. And the other at Depot Park. They’re both every Saturday at 7:30 am.

P.S. The development of this park is being considered by the Alachua County Commission. There are plans for permanent restrooms and possibly a two-mile running path!!!!

FTC takes on Gate River Run. 🏃‍♀️🚍🍊

From the bus ride to the finish line celebrations, it was a great (and hot!) day in Jacksonville with the club. Thanks to everyone who came along for the ride!

Today we honor Jeff Galloway, Olympian, coach, one of the early Florida Track Club members and one of the great builders of the running community.

His belief that running is for everyone changed the sport for the better and helped shape the welcoming spirit we value so deeply at FTC.

His legacy will continue in every start line, every encouragement, and every runner who discovers they can do more than they thought.

The Mary Andrews Marathon & Half Marathon is almost here, and we are so excited to welcome everyone to the start line tomorrow morning.

Both races begin at 8:00 AM, and this post includes everything you need to know before heading out — parking locations, packet pickup, pacing groups, safety information, and more.
