We had a great time at our fundraiser last night! We had the chance to socialize, catch up with some veterans and friends we haven’t seen in a while, as well as meet some new veterans and connect with those in our community.

Thank you to the staff at Red Robin for helping to make this a success and to all those that supported Warrior Sanctuary throughout the day by participating in this fundraiser!

We are so grateful for the amazing people in our community that support us and believe in the importance of being there for veterans! We truly could not do it without you! ❤️

Oh yeah - the winner of the raffle for our veteran-made reindeer was Amanda Grebe! Congratulations Amanda!

TODAY IS THE DAY! Our fundraiser at Red Robin goes all day today so go out and get you some yummy food and support local veterans! Make sure to let them know you are there to support Warrior Sanctuary ❤️

A few of us will be there from 5-9pm tonight so if you come during that time make sure to stop and say Hi and enter for our special veteran-made raffle item!

We are gearing up for our fundraiser with Red Robin NEXT TUESDAY SEPT. 29! Come on out and get you some delicious food and support local veterans.

*Make sure to tell your server you are there to support Warrior Sanctuary.

The fundraiser will be all day so go whenever it works for you. You can also support the fundraiser by ordering online on the 29th (see details on flyer). We will be out there from 5-9pm so if you come during that time make sure to come say Hi! We would love to meet more of our community!

In today’s economy finances can be strained at times and life can throw curve balls that can get us off track. You are not alone in the struggle to make each dollar stretch a little further. Come out and join us for a discussion on Smart Financial Planning. Navy Federal Credit Union has graciously offered to do a 2nd session for our veterans!

SATURDAY SEPT 19TH @ 2PM

We will be discussing topics such as budgeting for success, the importance of savings, building credit, controlling debt, and preventing fraud. Let’s get together and talk about the current struggles around finances and how to get things on track for your future success!

We are so THANKFUL for the recent help from Coastal Carolina Community College & Jones-Onslow EMC!

The recent Lineman Class @ CCCC came out to get some hands-on experience in vegetation management – they learned safety, proper equipment, chainsaw operations, as well as many other topics that will be useful in their future careers. Even though we got rained out initially, we made it work!

This was a true example of partnership within the community, and we are extremely grateful for the progress that was made on our nature trail and other trees that needed to be cut down.

BIG THANKS to Brian, Terry, and William from CCCC for coordinating all of this; and especially Clayton & James from JOEMC who came out and shared their knowledge and experience! And we cannot forget our veterans and volunteers who showed up to assist: Rob, Dustin, Andy, and Todd; as well as Josh, Shannon, Cassie and Andrew who helped cook lunch and cleanup! Special thanks to Food Lion on Piney Green for providing a gift card to help purchase food for the cookout!

It truly takes a village to make it happen and we are extremely grateful for the AMAZING village we are blessed with!

Dinner & Game night was a huge success! Tonight was proof that we are never alone and sometimes we just need to get connected! There were veterans from all different ages and it was such a beautiful thing to witness the connections and fun everyone was having! And the meal was delicious!!!

Big thanks to Emma and her group that prepared the amazing meal ❤️ Thank you for choosing Warrior Sanctuary to bless with this meal!

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped setup and cleanup as well as those that brought supplies & games.

Thank you to the members of the Marine Corps League for coming out and sharing in this event with us! We look forward to doing more together with our brothers & sisters!
