and dogs have to be able to repeat behaviors without giving up and keep going no matter what

what happens when you can't use your voice to communicate with your dogs ??

we teach how to communicate by other means including using your eyes and signals or sign language or made up cues

many times people with disabilities can't use their hands or voice arthritis leaves your hands and fingers cramped or unable to function well same as cp or md or asl or parkinson's autism crpd etc etc

using your voice, eyes or hands or fingers to communicate are other ways dogs communicate with visual effects

dogs are very visual and read body language of other dogs and they do the same with humans

the less you speak the more they pay attention to your body for cues

if you ever have he chance to watch a deaf human working with their dog hearing or not you will see they usually have a great relationship for this reason the dogs have to communicate by visual or touch means they he way the do with their own

we often create cues that we don't even realize when communicating with our dogs once a cue is rewarded and conditioned we can repeat that cue

our clients come with many challenges of every day life but what's cool to watch is when they realize they can still communicate and train and command their dogs

this gives them so much more confidence in their daily lives!

especially in a world of you can't do this or that!

and age doesn't
matter either we have had 2 year olds telling the dogs what to do lol

the family cafe is coming up soon !

it's an event that i have attended since their 8th year! this makes it 20 years now!

it's not an event for everyone since it is loud crowded and kids everywhere lol

people of all ages are welcome with or without disabilities!

it is an organization focused on families with kids with disabilities!

but everyone is welcome!

lots of activities and music and information to learn.

it's a free event for all. exhibition hall activity rooms and lots of presentations and speakers throughout the packed 2 day event

we will be there in the exhibition hall as well as the activity room called the Pawsome Spot! which was a huge hit last year!

we will have some of our dogs there for everyone to hug pet high five or whatever

we are also going 2 separate presentations this year we were approved for 2 as i have separated the demo from the power point to give more room! we are honored to be welcome back yet another year!

if you plan to attend you will need to get your own transportation, meals and rooms.

every year you can apply for financial aid for hotel coverage they have a lottery system they use to select to provide free of charge for a certain amount that their grants allow each year.

if you have never attended and are interested just register and check it out. there is something for everyone
