NextMove Initiative – Taking Skills to the Streets

On Friday the 19th, we went out to meet people where they are.

As part of our NextMove Initiative, we engaged with individuals experiencing homelessness to share practical information about 100% free online courses that can be accessed using public library computers and free internet.

We emphasized that even in challenging situations, there are still real opportunities to build useful skills, earn free certificates, and begin creating independent sources of income.

The courses presented included:
• Website development
• Graphic design
• Accounting
• Digital marketing
• Artificial Intelligence

In total, 15 people showed strong interest, including 5 women, and several participants registered on the spot and committed to starting their learning journey.

Beyond education, we also shared a moment of fellowship and dignity:
• Food was distributed as an expression of care and solidarity
• T-shirts were given
• Conversations were open, respectful, and encouraging

We are Aid-Equip US, a Jacksonville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, committed to restoring dignity through skills, access, and opportunity.

FREE SKILLS = REAL MONEY

No job?
No money?
No problem.

Did you know that you can go to your public library, use a free computer and free internet, learn a real skill, get a FREE certificate, and start making money on your own?

No background check.
No payment.
No diploma needed.

You can learn things like:
• Building simple websites
• Designing flyers and logos
• Social media and online services
• Basic business and marketing skills

All courses are 100% FREE and give FREE certificates from platforms like Google Digital Garage, HP LIFE, Alison, and Simplilearn.

All you need to do:
1️⃣ Go to the public library
2️⃣ Use a computer
3️⃣ Register on a free learning website
4️⃣ Learn a skill
5️⃣ Use that skill to earn income

This is about independence, skills, and a new start.

We are sharing this because we believe everyone deserves a chance, and the tools already exist.
