Members include Elementary, Middle, and Senior High Art Educators as well as those in higher education. NEFAEA acts as a forum for which art teachers may bring issues of concern to the f

ront lines. These issues are further addressed at the administrative level in our school system as well as at the state level through the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA).Many members of NEFAEA are practicing artists. The organization sponsors two shows per year: The Fall Show and the Spring Art Show, which is a juried exhibit.

FAEA's new initiative, Board Connections, was created to bring "us" closer to you—our FAEA community—by sharing the board's artistic journeys and passions. Just as members showcase their creative work through the Member Virtual Exhibition, FAEA board members want to share their artwork and projects with you.

FAEA will feature pieces created or cherished by your FAEA board members in the 2024-2025 issues of Fresh Paint magazine. Whether it’s a personal creation or a favorite work of art, these selections are meant to inspire conversation, connection, and a deeper sense of community.
