The mission of the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee Counties is to empower and enhance the lives of people impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. The Children’s Advocacy Center, a program of the Crisis Center, has a separate facility location in Jacksonville. The Crisis Center of Anderson and Cherokee Counties is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. Originally fo

unded in 1989, the Crisis Center’s mission has evolved extensively. Initially the organization’s mission centered on assisting to provide basic care and necessities and refuge for women and children victimized by domestic violence or family violence.
