Historical Recovery Association of North Florida People in and around Jacksonville with the interest of Metal Detecting getting together to share experiences and knowledge.

HRANF seeks to bring the hobbyists of common interests together and for good fellowship. Individuals from all walks of life find the hobby of Metal Detecting to be fun, exciting, interesting, educational and even a recreational exercise. Both Active Metal Detecting hobbyists and those interested in learning about the hobby are welcome to join us. HRANF wants to create an organized group were it's

members can exchange ideas, share individual finds, learn new concepts and methods, meet new people and help introduce the hobby of metal detecting to new people young and old. Our overall purpose and goal will be to stimulate interest in Metal Detecting, Relic Hunting and the Appreciation for the Art of Preserving our Natural History. Most importantly, to promote proper ethics and to make our community aware of the laws and concerning our hobby.

Pausing the hunt August 26, 2025 dianna watkins So life gets in our way sometimes. And it's certainly interrupted our life recently. So until we can get back to the swing of things, we're pausing the hunt 27th for the moment. Please check back each month as we still plan on another soon.
