Our member, Kurt Radecki, delivered a 10/10 speech this week. He gave an invaluable lesson on how to curate and deliver an evaluation during a toastmasters meeting.

If you’ve never been to a club meeting before, each week there are 2-3 prepared speeches that are then evaluated by another member of the club. These evaluations are extremely valuable in helping you develop and grow as a speaker.

Kurt shared 3 highly useful and applicable tips for writing and delivering kind yet impactful evaluations to help speakers grow in the way they intended to when joining the club.

These guys showed out during Table Topics this week! Our theme was “Beat The Clock” so we heard fun answers to questions like “what would you do with an extra hour per week?” and “what is something you always make time for?”

Yesterday we had the honor of hearing one of our new members give his first speech. Keith’s Ice Breaker speech took us on a journey through his developing love for hiking and spending time outdoors.

From exploring as a child, to enjoying “green therapy” in college, and then sharing that love with his own children in adulthood, Keith delivered an excellent story as his first Toastmasters speech!

Rasta is a newer member of our club and gave his second prepared speech this past week. I think every person there stands in agreement that Rasta has something special! This is truly just the beginning 🙌🏼

He shared a motivational speech about knowing when to work and when to rest. It was woven with stories, insight, and energy. We look forward to the next speech, Rasta!
