We offer workshops to aid young girls with low self-esteem, to help build self-confidence, we teach the girls how to develop healthy food choices, help the girls learn to wire their minds for hap
piness, confidence and success in life, etiquette classes, we are partnering with United Ways RealSense program to age appropriate financial workshops, workshops on Cyber Bullying, Entrepreneurship skills – training them young to business skills and how to become owners of their own businesses, the girls will learn at an early age on how to take care of their skin, making good choices – we will provide the girls with the skills to make good choices for day-to-day living. Founder and CEO Cheryl D. Kehl, MBA has worked in the community over the last 20 years serving many capacities. Currently she volunteers with United Way’s RealSense program teaching financial literacy workshops and serving as a Money Coach. Cheryl has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Edward Waters College and Master degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She has a passion to see our youth encouraged and motivated to become successful leaders in our community. Cheryl has served in the United States Navy and Air Force Reserve. She is a Certified Christian Life Coach and working on Certified Wisdom Coach which is a life coach program for the youth. Cheryl is certified as a Youth First Aid Responder. OUTCOME FOR PARTICIPANTS:
When faced with challenges or disappointments, most kids don’t have the tools to handle them which is what our program will provide. 30% of tweens (children between 10-12) experience headaches and difficulty sleeping as a result of stress. 25% of children between the ages 13 and 18 experience anxiety disorders. The girls in our program will understand how to handle challenges in life. Our goal is to reach girls in low income areas of Jacksonville to give them the tools to become successful.
