Operation New Hope

Operation New Hope Operation New Hope is Florida’s statewide reentry network. Since 1999, we’ve connected justice-impacted individuals to opportunity, stability, and community.

Hope Starts Here. With over 20 years of experience providing reentry services in Florida, Operation New Hope is a leader in the field. We provide comprehensive case management support, soft/hard skills training, job placement and family reunification to people with a criminal record, in order to break the cycle of incarceration and poverty. United by the belief that we all have the power to change

our lives for better, we cultivate stronger communities by creating opportunities to realize second chances and reduce recidivism through strategic partnerships with the judicial system, local businesses, faith-based organizations, and community partners. We deliver our Ready4Release (pre-release) services to 20 facilities in Florida and our Ready4Work (post-release) program in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Tampa, Florida. We motivate participants to become productive, responsible citizens saving taxpayers millions of dollars by avoiding repeated cost of incarceration and lost tax revenue. With Florida having the 3rd largest incarcerated population, Operation New Hope is poised to expand our Ready4Release and Ready4Work programs to additional locations around the state to address the critical needs of the thousands of people returning every month from Florida's jails and prisons.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, our Orlando team wore green and created an encouraging space at our office to help raise awareness about the importance of prioritizing mental wellness. 💚

At Operation New Hope, we believe mental health support is an essential part of long-term success and stability. Every client we serve has access to SMART Recovery support groups, peer recovery support groups, and individual sessions with a therapist.

Working through past trauma, setting personal goals, and having a safe space to talk can make a meaningful difference. Our mental health team is proud to walk alongside our clients every day, offering support, encouragement, and hope on their journey toward wellness.

A “second chance” to us means providing opportunities for justice-impacted individuals to thrive. Second chances, and access to opportunity, are what make transformation possible.

At Operation New Hope, we’re proud to support individuals as they reconnect to the workforce, their families, and their communities. Because when people succeed, our communities are stronger.
