Congratulations to our winners of the Summer Sizzler Chess Tournament hosted by the Onslow County Public Library.

We had 22 players participate in 1 USCF rated and 2 unrated sections.

Thank you to the players and family for supporting the chess club at the library.

We are here playing chess! Come celebrate the end of the school year with us!

The Summer Chess Ladder at the Main Branch of the Onslow County Public Library commences on June 8th.

Participants may join at any point throughout the summer, starting at the bottom of the ladder.

There are two divisions, Beginner and Experienced, and players have the option to switch divisions as needed.

Participation in the ladder is completely free.

The purpose of the ladder is to provide structured challenges and practice opportunities for tournaments.

We still have room in both the USCF and Unrated Sections. Tournament is Saturday, June 6th - the day after regular school ends. Come celebrate summer by playing chess indoors at the library!
