Florida Wing Group II, Civil Air Patrol Group II consists of 14 squadrons Northeast and the eastern side of Central Florida. Air Force and as
such is a member of its Total Force.

HEADQUARTERS, Group II exists to provide oversight and assistance to subordinate units. Established in 1941, Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the U.S. In its auxiliary role, CAP operates a fleet of 560
single-engine aircraft and more than 2,100 drones and performs about 90% of all search and rescue operations within the US. CAP’s members also perform homeland security, disaster relief

and drug interdiction missions at the request of federal, state and local agencies. As a nonprofit organization, CAP plays a leading role in aerospace education using national academic standards-based STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education. The Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP) application process for Spring/Summer Encampments IS NOW OPEN.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 1st.** Decisions will be made the first week of May.
Squadron Commanders please approve CEAP applications ASAP.

We are celebrating our VERY FIRST Registration Zone slotting for National Cadet Special Activities (NCSAs)! News Flash! Just in from FLWG Cadet Programs!

Registration for Florida Leadership Academy NCO Academy and Training Officer Academy is extending registration!
Deadline to register is Wednesday 19 February 2025 at 2000.
(Deadline is extended just for these two academies. SNCO and CCC are full.)

FLA provides an environment for cadets to learn and practice skills that will prepare them for future leadership opportunities. The Training Officer Academy for Senior Members is designed to prepare Senior Members to serve as Training Officers at future encampments, or for newer members wanting to learn more about working with cadets.

We have just a few spots available so don't wait!
