Hello!

We are so excited to bring everyone down to the Springs tomorrow! I just wanted to touch base with you all and answer a few questions we've received.

THERE"S STILL PLENTY OF ROOM ON THE BUS! If you haven't signed up yet, you can still show up in the morning to attend. Please bring your ID. This is a 21+ event.

First and foremost, we are headed to Ginnie Springs RAIN OR SHINE! The weather has been less than ideal this weekend and will likely continue tomorrow, but thankfully we haven't had lightning and we were always going to get wet anyways!

There should be a decent amount of space for coolers on the buses, so feel free to bring any beverages or snacks that you like. We will have basic Jameson and Del Maguey cocktails and water, as well as hot dogs, hamburgers and chips, as well as a minimal number of veggie burgers. There will be two people working the grill, so feel free to bring something else to throw on if dogs and burgers don't work for you.

If you are meeting us at the Springs, plan on being there around 11:30AM. We will be at the Turkey Roost, which the folks at the welcome center can easily point you to.

Don’t forget to bring a towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and a change of clothes — the water is chilly but crystal clear! Water shoes or sandals with straps are also recommended for the river.

If you have a small waterproof bag or dry bag, it’s a great idea to bring it along for your phone or valuables.

Here's a basic itinerary that is very subject to change because it's the Springs and we're all just there to have a good time!

9:30 AM: Buses arrive on Park St.

9:45 AM: Bus riders should be present and boarding the buses by this time.

10 AM: Buses leave Five Points.

11:30 AM: Buses arrive at Ginnie Springs

12 PM: Short presentation from Ginnie Springs representative

12:15 PM - 1 PM: Jameson/Del Maguey Sustainability Panel (WEATHER PERMITTING)

1PM: Floating Cocktail Competition & FREE FLOAT TIME

5 PM (6PM LATEST)- Buses head back to Jacksonville.

You are responsible for getting yourself onto the bus by the time that we announce tomorrow to the group. There will be no roll call. We are all grown ups.

Thank you for signing up to join us at Ginnie Springs next Monday, October 6th for a day of spirited education, sustainability, floating and fun. We're so looking forward to seeing you all out there. Here's some information for you!

Busses will pick you up at FIVE POINTS LIQUOR LOUNGE (1050 Park St) and will leave at 10 AM. Please arrive by 9:45 AM so that we can get on the road on time.

PARKING: We suggest parking in the parking lot by Another Broken Egg (1012 Margaret St). Parking on Park St has a 2 hour limit and you are likely to receive a parking ticket.

Busses will return to 5 Points no later than 8PM but we will be aiming for 7:30. We all want to see the Jags on MNF!

Once we arrive at Ginnie Springs, non-members will be required to purchase their admission at the welcome center for $25 + tax. USBG members will have their admission purchased by a USBG officer at that time. Please take the time to fill out the waiver linked below to save some time on the day of.

Please remember this is an educational and professional event — drink responsibly and respect the park’s rules and one another.

Waiver Master. Sign documents, create members, gather leads
