Vision for Excellence A program designed to prevent our youth of today from becoming clients of the court system tomorrow.

To give direction and instruction for a clear vision and excellence. In 2010, Public Defender Matt Shirk created a Vision for Excellence Summer Camp with the vision of ‘preventing some of our youth today from becoming our clients of tomorrow.’ The mission of this program is to provide young people with educational resources, interaction with positive role models, self-esteem enhancing activities a

nd community building opportunities which will result in good decision making skills and a desire to produce positive contributions to the community. Our program strives to spark a passion in our campers by exposing them to real life cases and situations the office deals with each day. We will work to assist the young people in creating long term goals and mature into productive citizens.
