The Rotary Club of East Arlington had a fantastic event called CELEBRATE ROTARY April 23. A great evening to learn about our club, Rotary and others. Highlights including awarding a partial scholarship to a student at Terry Parker High School, several Rotaract Club members from Jacksonville University, Downtown Rotaract JAX and Beaches Rotaract plus students from the Interact Club at Terry Parker High School plus many guests. Fun Fantastic Night! THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED.

The Rotary Club of East Arlington is working in conjunction with the Interact Club at Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville for an international project in Ecuador. The Rotary areas of FOCUS are 1. Community and Economic Development, and 2. Mother and Child Health. Rotary Club of East Arlington participated in a Fishing Event at the 7 Creeks Festival on Saturday March 7. We helped a lot of kids fish for the first time in their lives and the Smiles were everywhere.

The Rotary Club of East Arlington was busy with the Terry Parker High School Interact Club making Valentines for a visit to a Senior Center next week. Both clubs want to give Valentine Cards to those who are lonely to help cheer them up for the occasion

The Rotary Club has been BUSY in January and February in January we sold Pork Butts as a Fund Raiser they were delicious The preparation of the butts was carried out by these dedicated individuals.
