The Village is looking to add a new home! This is more than just a real estate acquisition. We’ll be creating a community equity structure to share ownership with our MyVillage nonprofit partners as we work in collaboration to transfer this historic Woodstock campus into a community tech incubator. This will be a physical home for local grassroots programming and everything else we're building together! 💚💛

The MyVillage Project agreed to pay $1.25 million for Annie R. Morgan to create a tech incubator.

Last week, seven members of the Coding in Color (CIC) dev team traveled to Seattle to wrap up our work on the Math Narrative Project at the Gates Foundation HQ 🏙️💻.

The convening brought together a dozen organizations field-testing new ways to improve how math is talked about—for students, parents, and educators. CIC was the only student team invited, and showed up not just as participants, but as collaborators and technical experts💡.

Using the MyVillageOS model, the team shared how community-trained AI and game-based tools can be used to test these recommendations in real learning environments 🎮🤖.

This work was supported by the Gates Foundation in partnership with the Math Narrative Project, and we’re proud to be part of a broader effort to build better learning systems—with the people most impacted at the center 💚💛.
